a series of unfortunate events

so after my fire incidnent, i thought i was scott free of accidents. HA!

so wednesday after the fire incident, my garage door opener stopped working. so the only way to get it open would be to unhook the large metal bar that hooks the garage door to the chain track. since i am smart, i left the bar attached to the door, hanging. today i went to open the garage door to let my dog out, and the 10 pound bar came flying and clocked me in the head. now i got a small deep gash on my eye.

i thought you were supposed to get smarter as time passed.

city boy, country fire

i'm still new to the coutry. apparently you can burn stuff in your backyard and its cool. so last night i had our students over for a bonfire. it was good times. but before they arrived i had to get the fire going. i wasn't sure how successful i was going to be because it had rained for a good hour right before, and our house is too small for 30 teenagers.

so i went out to our fire pit determined to giterdun. i brought with me 2 liters of gasoline. i always start fires with tiki oils and things, so i did it like that. i poured the 2 liters of gas onto the pile of leaves and grass and things to get the fire started. i figured that i would start on the outside and work my way in like with the tiki oil. as soon as i put the lighter to the leaf, BOOM!!!. it started and i was on my butt. yes i have been to stupidvideos.com.

so that is not the worst of it. then it just starts to smoke like this yellow nasty smoke and i can't see my house at all anymore through the smoke! it is pouring out of this fire pit like crazy. one of our leaders, paul deeren, said hs saw my fire from his house almost a mile away! i really thought the fire department was going to come, but thank God they didn't.

rean bush got me convinced the cops were at my house to arrest me, and i was believeing him for a second. i have a permit i thought.

well after a while darin long took over and the smoke stopped and we had a great time at our fire. that's my story.
